It is my pleasure to announce that Pablo Díaz-Hyland was awarded the 2018 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP). Pablo’s contributions to our group are impressive. I’m very happy to see him following his dreams now as a graduate student.
This award is given to students who have the potential to be successful scientists, contribute to the success of underrepresented minorities, and ensure the leadership of the nation in science and engineering. Since 1952, this award not only has enhanced diversity and Ph.D completion rates, but has also produced ~30 Nobel Laureates, 400+ members of the National Academy of Sciences, founders of corporations and authors of books.
