The postdoctoral fellow is expected to develop and use Monte Carlo and Brownian Dynamics simulations to analyze the structure and dynamics of colloidal gels composed of anisotropic particles. This work will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ramón Castañeda-Priego from the Department of Physics at UGL and Dr. Ubaldo M. Córdova-Figueroa from the Department of Chemical Engineering at UPRM.
We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated and career-oriented. Candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in physics, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
Salary, benefits and visa sponsorship: The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months, renewal will be granted at this period based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds. UGL will sponsor a visa for non-Mexican citizens/permanent residents if they are found to be eligible candidates.
