Congratulations to Pablo Diaz who has been accepted again for the Puerto Rico NASA Space Grant Fellowship for 2017-2018. This will allow Pablo to continue doing state-of-the-art research with relevance to NASA. Pablo will work this semester in reaction-enhanced diffusivity using nonlinear microrheology techniques.
Pablo has demonstrated to have the potential to continue contributing to NASA’s missions. He was a spring intern in NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and a summer intern in NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. He worked in cryogenic flow physics and high performance computing, which are areas that can save the space industry millions of dollars in fuel losses and engineering design. He also assumed ambassador roles in outreach activities for STEM undergraduates and elementary school students.
